Command the ultimate home cinema experience with the LG OLED83G54LW.AEK 83" OLED evo AI G5 4K Smart TV – a truly magnificent Gallery Edition OLED that combines a massive 83-inch screen with LG's most advanced picture technology. Designed for UK homeowners with dedicated media rooms or spacious living areas, this television delivers perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and breathtaking scale, all while sitting virtually flush against your wall as a stunning piece of art.

The 83-inch OLED evo panel is genuinely breathtaking – among the largest consumer OLED screens available, filling your entire field of vision for an experience that surpasses most commercial cinemas. The sheer scale transforms every movie, Premier League match, and game into an unforgettable event. For homeowners with the space to accommodate it, this screen creates a true home theatre experience where perfect OLED blacks and infinite contrast make every scene immersive.

The Gallery Design is the defining aesthetic feature. Unlike standard TVs that protrude from the wall, the G5 series is engineered to hang with zero gap – the panel sits virtually flush against the wall surface. This creates a picture-frame appearance that blends seamlessly into your décor, enhanced by the slim bezel and minimalist profile. When not watching content, the 83-inch screen becomes a stunning art display.

OLED evo panel delivers perfect black levels and infinite contrast that only self-emissive OLED technology can provide. Each of the millions of pixels emits its own light, turning off completely to achieve absolute black. The evo designation means enhanced brightness over standard OLED – making HDR content pop with brilliant highlights while maintaining perfect shadow detail. On an 83-inch screen, this contrast is particularly striking.

a11 AI Processor (LG's most advanced) powers the intelligent features. Using deep learning algorithms with hundreds of millions of data points, it analyses and optimises picture and sound in real time. It recognises content types – movies, sports, news, games – and adjusts settings automatically. AI upscaling enhances lower-resolution content to near-4K quality, essential for such a large screen.

Brightness Booster Max delivers the highest brightness levels in LG's OLED lineup, making the G5 suitable for brighter living rooms where standard OLEDs might struggle. Anti-reflective coating further reduces glare, maintaining picture quality during daytime viewing on this massive screen.

4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) delivers four times the detail of Full HD, while AI Super Upscaling reconstructs and refines lower-resolution content with exceptional accuracy.

HDR support includes Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG. Dolby Vision optimises scene-by-scene metadata for the most accurate HDR presentation possible on Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+.

120Hz native refresh rate delivers exceptionally smooth motion for fast-moving content. Sports action is fluid, panning shots are judder-free, and motion blur is minimised. OLED response time is virtually instantaneous – no ghosting or smearing.

For gamers, the G5 is exceptional. 4K at 144Hz support (via HDMI 2.1), NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Variable Refresh Rate deliver tear-free, stutter-free gameplay. Game Optimiser dashboard brings all game settings into one place with genre-specific presets. Input lag is remarkably low (under 10ms in Game Mode), and the 83-inch screen provides unmatched immersion.

webOS smart platform (LG's most advanced version) provides access to all major UK streaming services: BBC iPlayer, ITVX, All 4, My5, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, YouTube, and more. Magic Remote offers point-and-click, voice control, and wheel scrolling.

AI Sound Pro analyses audio and upmixes standard content to virtual 9.1.2 surround sound using the TV's built-in speakers. For a screen of this calibre, a dedicated soundbar is strongly recommended.

Voice assistants include LG ThinQ AI, with support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa via the Magic Remote.

Energy efficiency is a benefit of OLED technology. OLED panels consume less power than comparably sized LED TVs when displaying typical mixed content, as pixels displaying black turn off completely.

From a practical standpoint, the 83-inch Gallery Design requires specific wall mounting – the included slim wall mount holds the TV flush against the wall. Professional installation is essential due to the size and weight. Ensure your wall can support the significant weight and that you have adequate viewing distance (approximately 3-4 metres minimum).

Connectivity includes 4 x HDMI 2.1 ports (all supporting 4K at 144Hz, eARC, VRR), 3 x USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and optical audio out. eARC allows lossless Dolby Atmos audio to pass to a premium soundbar.

Included solar-powered Magic Remote reduces battery waste – an eco-friendly touch.

For UK homeowners seeking the ultimate combination of massive OLED scale, gallery-worthy design, and reference-quality picture performance, the LG OLED83G54LW.AEK 83" OLED evo AI G5 4K Smart TV delivers perfect blacks, exceptional brightness, and a virtually flush 83-inch wall mount.
